Account Manager (Southeast US)

Location: Atlanta, GA

Rapid Response Monitoring, a national leader in electronic security monitoring, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to add to our fast growing Business Development Team. We are looking for someone to cover a multi-state territory to be based in the Southeast region as an Outside Sales Account Manager.  We offer three months fully paid training as well as continued skill enhancement training.  Our employees enjoy a creative, collaborative working environment.  

About the Position  

  • Make Sales calls to prospects within multistate territory to develop new business and to current clients to ensure high quality customer service  
  • Travel to client sites, prospective client sites, events and tradeshows.  Travel up to 75%.  
  • Develop new business in assigned region while communicating effectively with our current client base and responding to their needs accordingly.  
  • Ensure our current clients, as well as qualified leads, have a full understanding of company services available to them.    
  • Stay informed of market conditions; product innovations; and competitors' products prices and services.  
  • Collaborate with other Sales and Marketing personnel to establish and maintain efficient office procedures, practices and routines.  
  • Perform administrative duties, such as researching client business needs; preparing sales budgets and quotes; generating and analyzing reports; and recording client interactions  

About You  

We prefer an Account Manager who possesses a minimum education of a four-year degree and one to two years of on-the-job experience in a related field. Organization, strong written and verbal communication skills, a high level of detail, and the ability to develop lasting professional relationships are essential.  The successful candidate must be an ambitious, career-minded team player with a full understanding of confidentiality agreements and proprietary information.
