Training Manager

Department: Training & Quality Assurance
Location: Syracuse, NY

Manager of Training

As Manager of Training, you will take charge of the evolution of all Rapid Response training programs and oversee the development and guidance of our training team. You will design strategies to enhance and improve the overall effectiveness and performance of our organization. A successful candidate will be a passionate leader who can develop new training strategies and manage their implementation.


  • Conduct and oversee corporate training and development programs.
  • Develop short- and long-term cross-departmental planning strategies to monitor adherence to specified policies and procedures, employee performance, and meet company goals and objectives.
  • Oversee SIA certification of Operations staff.
  • Assist RRMS staff during catastrophic failure simulations and refine process as required.
  • Ensure that uniform training is given to all specialists regardless of shift through the creation and updating of Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Oversee the creation and administration of programs to train Operations Managers and Supervisors on procedural changes and new integrations.
  • Perform on-site Dealer training to facilitate uniform processing of signals and data.
  • Inform and inspire new and existing employees on full compliance with Company policies and procedures.

Basic Qualifications 

  • Minimum four (4) year college degree or equivalent military and/or relevant work experience.
  •  Experienced with trend identification and problem solving.
  •  Superior customer service, communication, time management, and organizational skills.  
  •  Ability to clear a thorough background check to allow for acquisition of necessary licensing (SIA Certification, DoD SECRET Clearance, NYC Fire Certification, Commonwealth of Virginia Certification, and ability to be licensed in all US States where required).


Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of stages™, Aspect, Video Platforms, Microsoft Office programs.
  • In depth knowledge of computer systems, software, networks, with special knowledge of the internet, and computer system peripherals.
  •  1+ years Alarm Center Processing experience.
  •  Experience with database management as it relates to putting accounts on-line, making changes and/or corrections, and data quality assurance.
  •  Experience in HR, Adult Education or other classroom instruction.
