Role Summary:
Assist in performing the Company’s collections and billing functions under the direction of the Billing Coordinator.
Location:
This position is 100% in-office and reports to our facility on site in Syracuse, NY.
Salary Range:
$21.00/hr - $23.00/hr
Responsibilities:
- Maintain strong customer service through daily communication with clients
- Verify discrepancies and resolve customer billing issues
- Maintain billing database including changes in name, address, service and rates
- Answer incoming questions regarding dealer billing
- Perform day to day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivable data
- Verify billing accounts with accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Provide department with administrative support as needed
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Suitable data entry skills
- Proficiency in English language
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proven ability to adapt to new software and changing office environment
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Proficiency of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
COVID-19 Requirements:
- Must be fully vaccinated: 2 does of Pfizer/Moderna or 1 dose of Johnson & Johnson, 2 weeks prior or more
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in an office environment. Employee may be subject so some lifting up to 10lbs
